When it comes to marketing, you really have to think of it in my opinion as a practice. I am finding quickly that this industry is forever changing and it is our duty to evolve with it. You see from what I have learned so far indicates that as soon as you master the latest marketing tricks new trend develops and you have to change with it. To some folks this might be a complete turnoff and change some newbies mind about even putting in the hours and years to learn this industry. The way I see it is that in life you pay dues before you can reap the benefits of anything so why should our industry be in different right? I personally find the possibilities of high converting lists that bring in 6 figures in one day of a new product launch darn near erotic! LOL
I can’t think of many careers that don’t require a college degree or some sort of armored truck heist that can pull those kind of numbers off can you? So this is one of the top reasons I love this industry and I’m inspire to bring new ideas to you guys. I do admit that I am still learning how to master the tricks of the trade everyday but in the mean time I want to bring something new and cool to the table.
This is why it is my main focus to learn all I can while mastering everything I learn around me. I feel that in this blog I want to deliver quality content that changes your thinking. I want to show the world what I have learned and maybe from my own mistakes and accomplishments you the reader can benefit from DB Dot Com!!
My Plans
To be unique and relevant while still giving you 100% Derek Bingham organic marketing concepts. I want to standout from others so that you all can never confuse me from the ordinary marketer. I know that in this game you have to give the crowd what they want but still remain somewhat entertaining so I think I have one of those covered already..  LOL
Products Coming Soon
Yes indeed you bet your last can of beans that I do have plans to bring it! I am talking about is my own products. I am not going to develop copy products or trendy stuff just to make money I want to fix problems and aid in business and entrepreneur development. I don’t want to be like everyone else no offense to anyone but I am sick of seeing facebook products and social media marketing takeovers. I think it is time to develop something new and useful to the table that would actually help folks in their online businesses. So I will be taking my time in bringing my products to you all so that my credibility will always remain intact. I am thinking long term so I can really have a chance at becoming one of the major people in this wonderful game we call the internet.

Niche Marketing My Way To The Top

Have you ever heard of Niche Marketing? Do you want to know what I feel about it and why I have picked it as a business model? I feel that job security in today’s job market is not what it used to be. In fact I think 7 out of every 10 people know someone if not themselves who has been effected by today’s falling job market. I feel with those odds now is a good of time as any to start rethinking you’re career path if you haven’t already.

Today I had a little extra time so I wanted to reach out to you guys! I wanted to talk about some of the things I have been up to.

As you all know I have an e commerce store front and I have been spending countless hours working on SEO for it.

I know that their are many people that say “If you build it they will come.” But the real truth is if you have no realistic plan for marketing your website then your a fish dead in the water!

I have been finding out that this project requires just as much time as a real brick and mortar store. I can tell you first hand that you should never buy into all the false promises that you can be rich overnight because the real truth is you have to work for it! :)

The second thing I have been doing is working on my niche  websites. I know I have not mentioned them before but I am more of a get it done guy than a talker. I have been working real hard with the sites and have also been conducting countless hours of work on developing organic FREE traffic for them.

You may ask why and I will tell you quickly so you will understand my reasons for doing this over the overrated PPC Monster!

If it is one thing I know for sure is you have the best offer in the WORLD! But if you pay 80% of you’re profit in ads then your ROI will only be 20%.

But remember this equation is based on the fact if you have a return at all from your PPC campaigns! THAT’S RIGHT YOU CAN LOSE BIG BUCKS WITH PPC AND FASTER THAN YOU CAN SAY “IM BROKE!!”  LOL

But using old fashioned methods like article marketing, back-linking, blogging and creating the necessary online buzz with real offers people actually need will always net you 100% ROI so you will enjoy your PROFIT!!

CAN YOU SMELL WHAT I’M COOKING HERE FOLKS?

I guess what I am saying here is that I might not be the smartest tool in the toolbox when it comes to some things but I am smart enough to know in business you need to stay on top.

I am feeling that with FREE organic traffic with targeted keywords will bring in hot leads for FREE! So right now I am at the split testing stages and have already landed 1st page on Google for main keyword tittles for a site that has been live only 2 weeks!

I see a real future in this business and can see early retirement in my near future based on my current business model and practices. I will keep you guys up to date with my progress later until then meet you in the comments area! Later

Quick Update from Derek

Hey everyone I know it has been a minute since my last post but I have been so busy lately. I have been building my business taking care of SEO and Marketing, graphics, content etc.. Being a business owner is hard work and sometimes you have to know what is priority and what is not. At this point of the game of life I have to put up the work to produce the expected results.

This also applies to what you guys have to focus on with your businesses. I know that life can sometimes creep up on us but without focusing on our goals and putting in the work nothing gets done.

That is what I call paying dues and it applies to me as it also applies to you. So I will be posting again real soon but the next week or  2 I have to get this stuff done. I will reach out to you all soon I promise and have some more cool stuff to share. I just wanted you all to know that I did not abandon you all I have just been busy. Are You Smarter Than a An Internet Millionaire?

Now I know what you are probably thinking right now and maybe you are right. You are probably thinking yes I am “Are You Smarter Than a An Internet Millionaire.” I will be bold enough to say that you’re right and then for some people maybe not but everyone can improve right?

Now when we think about intellect and wealthy people, we often think of academics, popularity and wealth. It is amazing to me just how often we look at the top internet earners as people who are smarter than the average Joe. But the astonishing fact that will shock most of you is  that THEY ARE NOT ANY BETTER OR SMARTER THAN ANYONE! Through my research I find that some people just make better choices and have better work ethics.

Now I know that this is just my opinion about success associated with intelligence when it comes to business and personal achievement. If you really want to know what the big SECRET to Wealth is then remember what I am telling you now and put it in your pocket for later. It is about WORK ETHIC AND ACTION! That’s right people it is about having a healthy glass of motivation and drinking it straight with no chaser.

My Research Shows This To Be True

I was doing some celebrity research this week to take a close look at the top celebrates and their businesses. I first took a look at the rapper Soulja Boy who had over 2,000,000 followers before he deleted his own account. Now let’s take a look at Justin Bieber’s video with rapper Ludacris who has a reported 253,013,695 views and still growing with no signs of slowing down. Then we can look at the top Hollywood stars like Will Smith who said “ I WILL NOT BE OUT RUN ON A TREADMILL” and that was after he was already a famous mega star!

Now what I am seeing is a trend of hard working celebrates that realize the importance of hard work. These guys only difference from you besides their bank statements are WORK ETHIC!

In order to become successful in life besides the small potential for luck is working harder than the next man or woman. That is it in a nutshell and is no longer a secret kept in the dark.

My Take On All This

I feel that if the rich is working so hard that you see them everywhere then what makes some people think that waiting on success to happen will get them where they are going? I mean let’s think about this for a second and ask yourself this question. If you have $100 million dollars in the bank and was famous would you work night and day and connect with your audience on social media sites? I hope your answer was yes because if not then I guess you just don’t get my point here. I am telling you that if the already rich works 16 hour days then we have to work 17 hours plus!! This is about becoming the best and to reach that point you have to work like you want it folks! You can do anything you put your mind to is what they say but they forget about putting the word ACTION into that quote!  I hope you are getting this cause you better be if you want to be the best in your niche.

I will simply tell you the TRUTH here and keep it as the young folks say 100% RAW here on Derek Bingham (Dot) com. If you want to become a success and a top earner in your niche and small business then you have to TAKE IT! That’s right folks you have to become an animal in a since and eat raw steak if you have to.

I know it might seem a bit extreme but having a business to me is as extreme as you can get when thinking about taking ownership of your finances and changing your life. I feel that if the most famous people on earth works hard at their business then I just simply have to out work them. That is as the most simple formula and blueprint to follow ever, is it not? So I will say this to you and ask you this one simple question today, “Are You Smarter Than a An Internet Millionaire?”

Get This Book And You Will CRUSH IT

If there is one thing I have noticed a growing trend on is folks who talk about software. I am even guilty of this and wanted to twist things up a bit. That is why today I am going old school on you and recommending a MUST HAVE TOOL for your arsenal of goodies. Today I am recommending a book by Gary Vaynerchuk titled CRUSH IT!

I for one am not really a guy who enjoys reading a bunch of filler and fluff and all that stuff! (Hey I just rhymed!) LOL
This book is a very quick read but is definitely worth the investment if your looking into modeling your business after a mega millionaire like Gary. I have the book and all I can say is I am loving the content! I highly recommend it! – DB Out!

Today I was thinking why I love having an  Internet business so much. I was thinking about the cool opportunity the Internet offers everyone and how the potential for success is simply unlimited. This has given me the idea to come up with 10 reasons why I love working online.

So this is my personal list and if I left anything out you might like to add fell free to leave you’re list in the comments.

1.  Social Media

I think one of the biggest reasons I enjoy working online is making friends. I am learning more everyday about the people that visit my site. The Internet gives you an opportunity like never before to connect with your friends. This is what makes the Internet such a warm experience for me.

I am very much a people person so by leveraging the power of social media in business is awesome. I now  have a vehicle to travel the world in a day and visit everyone I care about in a minutes with social networks like Twitter, Facebook etc…  Social Media Is Such A Blast!!

2.  Working From Home

I think it is such a rewarding experience to spend time with family. I have never seen more people than now working at home and spending time with their loved ones.

The Internet has provided this opportunity to anyone who seeks it. I just can’t stress enough how important it is to spend time with family and now thanks to the Internet you can have your job and work from home. How Cool Is That?

3.  Work From Anywhere In The World

I really think it is cool how technology allows us to expand our locations. Now we can take the office with us in one single bag.

That’s right we now have the ability to travel the world and still be productive literally anywhere we can get a WiFi connection. “Can You Hear Me Now?”

4. You Can Become A Millionaire Quicker Than Ever

Never in life has so many people had an equal chance at becoming rich. Never before in life has their been more self made millionaires on the planet. It doesn’t matter you’re race, size, looks or even college degree!

If you have a computer and an Internet connection then you have the chance at becoming RICH in today’s internet market. Don’t take my word for it just ask Mark Zucxerberg who is worth $53.5 billion! Before you ask me, Yes that is right he is really worth that much. Don’t know who he is? Have you ever heard of Facebook?

5. You Can Sleep Late

Let’s face it folks and keep it real. Not everyone is a morning person and if you this is you then you’re buddy Derek Bingham is not alone.

I love to sleep late sometimes and working online gives you that luxury to skip setting the alarm. Think about how nice that would be to just wake up whenever you want. Nice Right?

6.  5 Second Commute To Work

I don’t know about you but I used to pack 2 meals for lunch. Yes that is right I used to pack 1 lunch for work and another lunch for the commute.

If anything can give you the motivation to work from home I know 2 hours in traffic can sure do it. It is so easy to get you in the mindset to look at the Internet for freedom after a long day in traffic.

7.  Spend More Time With Family

I mean let’s face it and keep it real folks. We all know how important the family is and working online with your own business allows you to spend time with them.

You only get one chance to see your children grow so I love the fact that we now have a chance to spend as much time with family as you want to.

8. Say Goodbye To Your Boss

Now I know that not everyone has a horror story about their supervisor. I know I have had my good bosses along with the not so nice ones to work with.

But the Internet affords you the luxury of becoming your own boss and work on your own terms. This is one of my favorite reasons to work for myself.

9.  Take Long Vacations Whenever You Want

I know everyone works hard and deserves a vacation from the day job. The great thing about having your own Internet business is you can pack up and take longer vacations without effecting your income. This is one of the best reasons I think you should have to work online with your own business.

Never again will you have to plan your schedule around your co-workers or supervisors. Now you can just say I think today is a good day for a trip and go whenever you feel like it.

10. Personal Achievement

I can’t  think of anything better to build  self esteem than personal success. We may face many obstacles in life but reaching a goal that benefits everyone around you is just PRICELESS!

I don’t think it is important to focus on what everyone around you thinks about you. I feel that just knowing you have accomplished your personal  goals of becoming a success on the Internet speaks for itself.

Learn The Secret To My Success

You know what today is right? You guessed it right! Today is Tuesday and that means it is time for another helping of Inspirational Food!

Life can have more than enough disa0pointments. It can be full of negativity and people anxious to point out you’re slightest mistakes to build up their own ego. But I am here to tell you that Derek Bingham is no different or better than you. I am your equal when it comes to life and I also understand how it can sometimes let you down if you don’t take control. When I think of one of my biggest personal challenges I ever had to face it was the negative influence of others. Today I want to share a personal story of my first business venture.

NYC  Kid Turns An Idea Into A Business By Selling Paper?

When I was young I had many friends some good and some, hmmm let’s just say my mother knew best. I knew at a very young age that I wanted to be an entrepreneur but I had no idea what that was. To be honest with you all I knew was I wanted to work for myself. I think my first successful business was when I was 12 I made a consignment deal with a local grocery store to sell newspapers.

The deal was I would sell the owners 25 cents Sunday Newspapers  door to door at 50 cents a piece. This allowed me a 25 cents profit and also provided a NEEDED SERVICE for some of the elderly people where I lived. It was a good idea I guess because I quickly grew my little business into a $50 Sunday business. I was selling papers so quickly that the owner eventually  demanded I prepare my own papers because he could not keep up with me.   This would mean I would spend time stuffing the papers with the coupon inserts that would take around 2 hours to do so I did not mind at all.

It seems that I must have had an influence because the word got out around the neighborhood quick I was making money. I had some friends who asked me if it was true and I was not afraid to say yes because I was so proud of myself. This was the point when I was finally introduced to competition and then everyone else joined in and my business venture folded.

But the lesson I learned was greater than anything I could ever think of learning. I found that I could think of something and create wealth from just an idea. This was a powerful lesson and far more valuable to me later on in life. I found that others took enough interest in me to follow something that I created from scratch. I was just a kid with a low self esteem but had followers which boasted my confidence just a little in myself. I noticed older and younger people respecting me and this felt great.

Surround Yourself Around Like Minded People To Learn The Secret

I truly feel that the first step to becoming successful in life is first knowing you are a success because you are working toward something. I remember this lesson by hearing an audio from one of my greatest inspirations of all time. This person I am speaking about is Mr. Earl Nightingale known from his amazingly cool audio The Strangest Secret that was originally released in the 1950′s.

This man talked about business and applied a logic that I was never ever expecting to receive in such a creative way. I was introduced to someone who was just like me in thinking but so much more educated and influential to my business that I still listen to it and get something out of it.

I started to see that if I was to become successful I needed quickly to surround myself with a team of like minded people. I knew that if I had friends that where smarter than I was then I would be influenced to learn more just to keep up. It is very important I figured out if I   have motivated people around me that understood my passion to be successful I would also become what I am around. I feel that it is critical for anyone trying to accomplish goals in life to have successful mentors to follow. I feel that if you want SUCCESS you have to be around SUCCESS as it will undoubtedly always attract success into your life. This is a fact and works for anyone seeking more than just getting by in life. So today I will leave you with my own quote.
